We have Upcoming Changes!

2021 has brought some major twists and turns in everyone’s lives, and we have been making some changes to better serve you, your pets, and our staff as we transition into a new world of vaccines, long awaited travel plans, and record numbers of new pets.

Because of this, we have had to make some necessary changes to Pack Leaders ATL so we can continue to provide the quality pet care service you love, and to adjust to our current circumstances.

So, please take a moment to carefully read all of our new changes, as some of them take affect next Friday. And if you have any questions, please let us know!

Memorial Day Weekend (FULLY BOOKED)

As you know, during the pandemic more people became pet parents than ever before, and now they are all in need of professional pet care. Which we love! However, that also means we’re getting booked up faster than ever before.

For all future services we recommend booking them in advance, as soon as you know you’ll need the service.

If you’ve tried to placing a service request on Memorial Day Weekend, you may have noticed that, unfortunately, there are no more available slots to book. Please don't hesitate to ask us for recommendations if you need your pets cared for over Memorial Day weekend.

New Rates

To recruit and maintain the best staff, continue providing quality pet care, and remain competitive we have had to make changes to our dog walking and cat sitting rates. For new clients, this rate change has already gone into effect. For all current clients, we are extending your current rates until August 1st, 2021.

Additionally, our new rates include up to two dogs or two cats. So no more $2 extra pet fees!

Rates

  • Potty Breaks & Cat Sitting Visits - $18 Package Rates / $22 Single Service

  • 30 Minute Walks - $25 Package Rates / $30 Single Service

  • Hour Walks - $40 Package Rates / $50 Single Service

  • 3+ Visits a Day (Pet Sitting) - $25 per 30 Minute Visit

Package Discounts

  • Current clients will retain their package discounts on all other services until July 1st, 2021

  • After July 1st, 2021 the Package discounts will only apply to dog walks and cat visits. For example: if you have a Potty Break Package, you will also receive the package rate on 30 minute walks and hour long walks.

*PS: Don't forget to use your pet's $25 birthday credits during their birthday months!

Terms of Use

On Friday, May 21st, our new Terms of Use policy will go into effect. Our new updates apply to Section 4, Terms and Conditions, only. Upon signing into your Time to Pet account, you will be asked to agree to the terms in this document, which is why we have it up now for you to view before agreeing to the updated document. You may view it HERE, if you wish to view it in advance.

Here are some of the highlights from this document:

Vaccination Records

  • If a client does not have vaccination records on file for their pet(s), we will be required to deny service until we have received their updated vaccination records.

  • This is something we are required to have on file in case of any emergency situation. It helps to ensure safety of our staff, other pets, and members of the community.

  • Vaccination Records are to be sent to aj@packleadersatl.com

Service Requests & Messages

  • We are requiring all pet parents to submit service requests through the Time to Pet Service Request feature and not by a direct message. Our Service Request system is designed to ensure all Service Requests are seen and processed correctly. This prevents any requests from getting lost in the message thread.

  • For pets not in our care at the time, Pack Leaders will respond to general messages, questions, and service requests between the hours of 8am through 8pm.

Weekend Requests

  • Pack Leaders ATL asks that all service requests for Saturday or Sunday are submitted for approval by 8PM the day before, so that we may schedule our staff appropriately.

  • There will be a $10 Surcharge for any same day services requested on the weekend, or after 8pm the day prior.

After Hours Fee

  • There will be a $10 surcharge for any visits after 8pm and before 8am.

Holidays

  • We have updated the days on which our Holiday pricing goes into affect. View Our Holidays Here or visit our FAQs on our website.

  • There is a $10 surcharge for each service on our designated Holidays.

Cancellation Policy

  • As always, dog walk and cat visit cancellations are FREE up until an hour before your service, excluding holidays.

  • If a Pack Leader cannot access your home for reasons out of our control (missing key or concierge/leasing staff, etc) Pack Leaders will proceed to their next service after waiting 30 minutes, and a cancellation fee will be assessed.

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance are FREE for all boarding and sitting services.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days for non-holiday boardings and sittings incur a $50 cancellation fee. For Holiday Boardings and Sitting services there is a $50 or 25% cancellation fee, whichever is greater.

  • Cancellations made after the service has begun are subject to the full service fee for the days already serviced and 50% of the remaining total services.

Adverse Weather Policy

Meet and Greets and Key Exchanges

  • As always, the first Meet and Greet is free.

  • After the first Meet and Greet, you can schedule a Free Virtual Meet and Greet with our Office Administrator who will pass along any new information to our pet care staff.

  • A visit fee will be assessed if you need another In-Person Meet and Greet to go over additional care details or introduce a new pet.

  • If you need to exchange your keys, they can be picked up and dropped off for FREE at our residential office location at 1020 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30309

  • Clients may request a complimentary lockbox to store their keys outside of their home.

  • There is a $25 surcharge if our staff must travel to pickup or drop off keys with you.

Grooming

For the past two years we have been excited to be the choice for many of your grooming needs. After May 26th we will be placing a brief hold on grooming. Once it's back, you'll be the first to hear the big news! If you need a groom soon, please book your next service before the slots fill up! If we add another day, we will let you know. Please remember we offer Pet Taxi services and can take your dog to your groomer of choice.
